Face masks pose serious risk to the healthy
Several studies have found significant problems with wearing such a mask
This can vary from headaches, to increased airways resistance, carbon dioxide accumulation to hypoxia, all the way to life-threatening complications
Moisture retention, reuse of cloth masks and poor filtration result in increased risk of infection
Poor practice includes habitual face-touching and improper discarding of potentially contaminated masks
Masks are a concentrated source of disease and increase transmission
It is also instructive to know that until recently, the CDC did not recommend wearing a face mask or covering of any kind, unless the person was know to be infected
Non-infected people need not to wear a mask
The recommendations by the WHO are not based on any studies of this virus and have never been used to contain other virus pandemic or epidemic in history
